My artist's name is Sam L. Street. I am a sociologist and a dedicated street photographer. Whether exploring bustling city streets or seeking hidden treasures in quiet corners, I always look for striking combinations of objects, people, and colors that tell a story. For me, street photography is a way of seeing the world with fresh eyes and discovering new connections and narratives amid the ordinary. Every photograph is a chance to explore the rich complexity of human experience and celebrate each moment's unique beauty. As I frame my shots, I am always mindful of the emotions they convey, the colors that predominate, and the narrative that emerges. The street is a canvas to paint life's vibrant, endlessly fascinating tableau.

I do not make a living from practicing photography. If you are interested in any of my photos for exhibitions, magazines, books, or arts festivals, please email me at samandstreet@yahoo.com.

The street is where poetry happens—the poetry of everyday life. It can be found on street corners, among abandoned bottles and cigarette butts, wet umbrellas, fallen leaves, and raindrops, or in the motions of a solitary biker, amidst the embrace of lovers' arms and countless other scenes. These are the poems of everyday life.

Street photography makes me a permanent tourist in my hometown and enables me to see the city with fresh eyes, discovering new connections and narratives amidst the ordinary.
